On Saturday the 12th of February the United Nations Information Centre together with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights took part in Canberra's Multicultural Festival, which this year attracted over 100 000 visitors during the course of three days.
The Festival is an annual event in Canberra and proving to be one of the most popular, attracting visitors as far away as Sydney. The United Nations stall was once again very popular with the crowd answering their questions about the UN as well as distributing a number of latest UN reports as well as UN Charters and Human Rights Declarations.
Overall the event prooved a success and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
