UNIC Canberra Internships

The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) offers graduate and post-graduate students the opportunity to undertake an internship at the Centre.

The programme aims to help students acquire practical experience to complement their studies, as well as to give exposure to the work of the United Nations.

Qualifications in communications would be of most interest to UNIC.  A background in international relations would also be of value.

During the internship, every attempt is made to match the interest of the intern with the work of the UN.

The duration of the internship programme is two months. However, interns are NOT expected to undertake the internship on a full-time basis. To qualify, he/she must have at least completed one year of their under-graduate degree.

UNIC does not accept secondary school students.
